PCLC to be closed to recognize National Truth and Reconciliation Day

The Peterborough Community Legal Centre will be closed on Friday, September 30th 2022 in recognition of the 10th annual Orange Shirt Day and 2nd annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. PCLC is located in Nogojiwanong on Treaty 20 traditional territory that has been stewarded by the Michi Saagiig Anishinaabe for time immemorial.

PCLC recognizes and supports the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

PCLC supports and stands in solidarity with Indigenous People in Canada on the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and the 9th Annual Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day began as a way to honour First Nation, Inuit and Metis children who were forced to attend residential schools, and to recognize the lasting impact residential schools has had on survivors and their families.
